On many of our pages, you’ll find a table where you can compare different products. You can choose how to sort the products in the table. However, there is always a default sorting option, which is what you see when you access the page. On this page, you can find out how the different sorting options work.
Sort tables by price
You can sort the tables by the lowest priced product, so the most affordable option appears at the top. There are three different types of pricing to choose from.
Our three different price types
- Cheapest (Monthly cost) – If you choose to sort by monthly cost, we ignore any promotional offers and show which products are lowest priced once the promotion has ended.
- Cheapest (Promotional Price) – This means that the product with the lowest promotional price will appear at the top of the table.
- Cheapest (Comparative Price) – Comparative price means we calculate the total cost of the contract for the first year and then divide this by 12. This means that any promotional prices, setup fees or charges for the router are included in the monthly cost.
If several products have the same price, they are sorted by the one offering the most data. If several products have the same price and data allowance, they are sorted alphabetically.
Most data or fastest speeds
Depending on the product you’re comparing, you can choose to sort the table by which option offers the most data, or by which one provides the highest download speed (in Mbit/s). When comparing SIM only, pay as you go SIM or mobile broadband, the main focus is on data, while for fixed broadband it’s all about the fastest speeds.
If several products offer the same amount of data or speed, they are sorted by the product with the lowest standard price. If several products have the same amount of data or speed and price, they are sorted alphabetically.
Most popular
If you choose to sort by most popular, the product with the most clicks in the past 30 days will appear at the top.
How standard sorting works
All our comparison tables have a default sorting order, which is the initial order you see when you visit the page. The default sorting used may vary between different tables, and we may also change which sorting is set as default.
You can always check how the table is sorted in the Sort by box on the right above the table. You can always change how the products are sorted.
